Project Cybersyn

In 1971, Salvador Allende had Stafford Beer design a computer system to control the planned economy of Chile. The control room looked like something out of an early StarTrek episode. It collected information from all parts of Chile and showed them on screens that were controlled by panels on the arms of mounted swivel chairs.

Background: Monkey Man Matt

Because of the significant experimentation I have done with Asympotatoes and due to the lack of knowledge available about them, I have turned myself into part man, part monkey. We are not yet experienced enough with controlling Asympotatoes yet, so I shall remain a monkey man for the time being.

I also enjoy programming in Visual Basic 6.0 as well as the ever popular Quickbasic. I have some HTML experience. I like to read (mostly research about Asympotatoes), and I also love math (because it helps unlock the secrets that Asympotatoes hold).

Background: The_Historian

The historian is in other circles known as William or any number of references to fire woodland creatures or entertaining stories. I enjoy art, books, laughing, theater, waffles, talking, spinning, late night walks, fire, writing, camping, hiking, being a mooster, and general fun. Life is meant to be loved. I like politics and the news quite a lot and have become and avid supporter of Barack Obama in his campaign for president. I like to write be it journalism poetry or essays. I like good music and interesting people and though I may say stupid stuff at times chilling out and living life is what its all about.
